After a string of well received early 2020 singles, California singer-songwriter-producer Remi Wolf released her EP I’m Allergic To Dogs! in August on Island Records. Her second EP vibrantly displays the re-imagination of a modern pop star – raw talent in singing and songwriting, a genuine sense of self delivered through humor and uptempo bops, and authenticity in every regard that not only has commanded respect from fans but also musical peers and other artists. Remi Wolf’s debut EP You’re a Dog!, a prequel to her new EP that chronicled the rollercoaster of emotions experienced with a deep first love, put the native Californian on the map and garnered early praise from Pigeons & Planes in late 2019, calling Wolf’s version of left-of-center indie pop “fun and immediate but never basic.” Remi Wolf’s ability to meld worlds and reach a new generation has already garnered her early praise from NPR, Time Magazine, NYLON, Paper, HypeBeast, i-D, Billboard, LA Times, BBC, V-Files and more. Additional praise has flowed in from major artists as well, with co-signs from Gorillaz, Maggie Rogers, Anderson .Paak, Hot Chip, and Polo & Pan. Most recently, her track “Hello Hello Hello (Polo & Pan Remix)” was featured in a global Apple commercial for the new iPhone 12. With her new EP, she put on the first sold out drive-in concert of 2020 in Los Angeles and much more to come, the literal and metaphorical stage is set for Wolf to continue on her charted path towards global stardom.
