Here are a few things about me.

My name is Ryan. It's my real name. I don't use a fake name on the radio. I'm afraid I'd get them mixed up.

I'm from Washington, DC. We have water fountains there.

I host the INDIE SOUNDCHECK program, which is Sunday through Thursday nights from 11pm-midnight on FM 102/1. It's a really great show. You should listen sometime.

I like seeing shows at the Pabst Theater.

I don't like The Killers. I do like The Shins. They did change my life, but not in a "Garden State" sort of way.

I won't tell you my favorite sports teams. But I will tell you my most hated sports teams: New York Yankees, Dallas Cowboys, Pittsburgh Penguins, Chicago Wolves.

I play 1st base on the FM 102/1 softball team.

My favorite website is www.homestarrunner.com . It changed my life more than The Shins did.

My favorite beer is Furthermore Beer, from Spring Green, Wisconsin. Knot Stock is my style of choice.

You can often see me at Milwaukee Admirals hockey games.

I'm a Washington Redskins season ticket holder despite being in a different time zone.

I can cook a mean chicken enchillada dish.

I like the new David Byrne & Brian Eno song a lot.
