So, I guess this is the part where I answer all your burning questions about what the hell I'm doing here in Milwaukee. The answer? Uhhh...I don't know, actually. I'll let you know when I figure it out.
I like to drink beer. I also like to watch Aqua Teen Hunger Force. To do both of these things at the same time is my idea of bliss.
No, I'm not on myspace. I don't have that kind of time. If I did, I'd waste it on the activities mentioned above.
I was eight when I went to my first concert.
It was a Motley Crue/Warrant show. My parents went with me to supervise. Which brings me to my next point...
I have a vast knowledge of 80's hair metal bands. No, this does not mean I drive an '86 Camaro. Nor does it mean that listening to said music in a public setting is acceptable. Unless you're with friends. Really good friends.
To me, life is simple. Things either suck, or they don't. Electronic toothbrushes, old school nintendo (I've beaten Friday the 13th, bitch) and live puppies are all fine examples of things that don't suck.
Things that do suck? People who feel the need to put a label on EVERYTHING (including themselves), global warming, and dead puppies.
Bands/Musicians that make me happy: Fiona Apple, Tom Petty, Jimmy Eat World, Green Day, Ben Folds, anything involving Andrew McMahon (I'm a sucker for pianos, ok?), a plethora of other bands I can't think of right now.
Bands/ Musicians I wish would go away: Nickelback, um...yeah basically just Nickelback. Well, wait, I guess you can toss Kid Rock in there, too, while we're at it.
CDs I'm currently craving worse than a junkie on smack:
Rise Against, The Sufferer and the Witness. Just pure awesomeness.
Regina Spektor, Begin to Hope. I get physically sick if I go too long without listening to it.
I'll update soon, maybe. OK, probably not, but I'll try. OK, I just lied again.
You can hear more lies 6p-11p every weeknight |
